A new slew of Helldivers 2 emotes have been discovered by dataminers, bringing some cursed animations to Arrowhead’s satirical sci-fi shooter. With the Democracy Space Station now live in the game, not bringing the long-awaited Clans system with it, players are now looking forward to new content.
After new weapon leaks and fresh leaks of Illuminate mission types and terrifying new Automatron enemies, the game’s latest leaks are much smaller. With new customisation options coming, notorious HD2 leaker IronS1ghts has released new videos of upcoming emotes for the game.
Helldivers 2 hides cursed emotes
Revealed on Twitter, IronS1ghts released videos of two emotes that have been resting within Helldivers 2’s game files. The infamous dataminer is well-known for finding unfinished 3D models, weapons and more within the popular multiplayer game, and this is no different.
IronS1ghts shared two Victory Pose emotes on social media, the first of which being the ever-cringe “dab emote”. Once acquired, your blood-soaked soldier will pop a quick dab after fighting their way through Bile Titans and scrounging for samples.
Another pose emote hidden in the game files is known as “Vigorous Thrusting”. As expected, upon victory, your soldier will start violently bucking their hips. However, our soldiers may be low on stamina, as they only muster two thrusts before stopping. Weak.
Why have these not been released?
There’s no word on why these Helldivers 2 emotes have yet to be released, but we can think of a few. According to IronS1ghts, the “Vigorous Thrusting” emote has been hidden in the game files for “a while”, but has yet to be added.
In a game as tongue-in-cheek as HD2, these emotes do feel very fitting for the game. However, if I see a dab on my Super Destroyer, I’m leaving them behind.
