343 Industries has confirmed that a new update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection allows you be a lot more selective about how you enjoy the sci-fi shooter compilation.

This is all thanks to the fancy new Intelligent Delivery feature for the shooter bundle, which 343 recently teased on Twitter.

It's pretty simple, really. Don't think much of Halo 2 multiplayer? You can just grab the campaign. Fancy a bit of online mayhem in Halo 4 but aren't fussed about the story? Then don't bother downloading the single-player mode. It's your call.

Looking ahead, 343 Industries confirmed that it will be adding Xbox One X support for Halo: The Master Chief Collection this summer.

The studio has been working tirelessly since the game's troubled launch to polish the collection as much as possible, with user feedback crucial in ironing out all the wrinkles.
