News on the next Halo will be delivered at E3 2014, corporate vice president of Microsoft Studios Phil Spencer has promised.
Asked on Twitter “what’s up with the next Halo?”, Spencer replied: “Halo news will be coming at E3. 343i has a great plan in place, will be cool to share with everyone.”
It’s heavily rumoured that Halo 5 will miss 2014 and instead arrive at some point in 2015. This year’s game will be Halo 2 Anniversary.
An E3 reveal of Halo 2 Anniversary and confirmation of a Halo 5 beta set to launch this winter would not be a huge surprise.
