343 Industries has announced that it’s opening the gates of this weekend’s Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tech Preview to all Xbox Insiders.
The news was announced on the game’s official Twitter account. Unlike previous tests, this weekend won’t require players to have signed up to the Halo Insider program to gain entry. Instead, they should be able to download the client through the Xbox Insider Hub on their dashboard.
This weekend’s test will largely be focused on two modes that’ll feature in Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer at launch. These include Arena and the larger-scale Big Team Battle modes. Anyone who participated in the test this weekend past can use the same client.
Access to this weekend’s Halo Infinite multiplayer preview will begin on Thursday, as Training Mode and Weapon Drills become available. Then, matchmaking will become available between 6pm and 10pm UK time from Friday October 1. It’ll take a break for a few hours, then return between 1am to 5am UK time. This will repeat on Saturday and Sunday, with surveys going out after the last session closes. The client will remain available with the offline modes until Monday.
Halo Infinite is currently set to launch on December 8 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
