343 Industries has released a pair of new trailers for Halo Infinite’s campaign and free-to-play Multiplayer during last night’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase event.

The first one teased a bit more on the backstory of the latest chapter in Master Chief’s ongoing fight. It seems the corrupted Cortana has been deleted, and we’ll be teaming up with a new AI named ‘the Weapon’. You, the Pilot and the Weapon will all be heading to Zeta Halo to take on the Banished who control the ring and unravel more mysteries surrounding Cortana’s fate.

The real meat though was reserved for the free-to-play Halo Infinite Multiplayer trailer which swiftly followed. Promising all the explosive action we’ve come to expect, we get to see vehicles, weapons and much, much more. We’ve got returning favourites and all-new modes both promised, and yes – those skulls are back too.

Developer 343 Industries has scheduled an even deeper dive into the game’s multiplayer later today over on the official Halo YouTube channel. A technical preview has also been promised this Summer to those who sign up to the Halo Insider program.

Check out the multiplayer reveal trailer for yourself below. Halo Infinite‘s campaign and multiplayer will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC this Holiday 2021. It’ll also be available from launch via Xbox Game Pass.
