343 Industries has released a new fix for Halo Infinite, addressing the Quick Resume issue that was affecting player cosmetics.

The issue in question meant that player cosmetics weren’t showing up in multiplayer inventories. Brian Jarrard, the community director at 343 Industries, said, “I recommend not continuing a Quick Resume session and making sure you’re online before venturing into Zeta Halo.”

According  to the patch notes for the new update, players will see “improvements to online service connections after re-entering Halo Infinite using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X/S consoles.”

The new patch also addresses the cosmetics issue in the game’s multiplayer modes.

In other Halo Infinite news, 343 recently added four new multiplayer playlists: Slayer, SWAT, Fiesta and FFA. After its year-long delay, the game has launched in bits and pieces. Forge mode and campaign co-op are due to be released next year. It would be remiss not to add that the multiplayer as it is is fantastic.

Halo Infinite is an interesting game as a whole. I recently played its campaign, which has some wondrous moments. I said, in my review, “With Halo Infinite, the studio seems to want to break the cycle and start afresh. The irony is that it has done so by drawing closer to the past.”
