Arc System Works anime-styed beat-em-up Guilty Gear: Strive has finally arrived on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles – and is immediately available on the Xbox Game Pass service.

The game originally landed on PlayStation consoles and PC in June of 2021 – but now arrives on Xbox with all the updates from its other formats, bringing it bang up to date.

The game originally arrived on PlayStation consoles in June of last year – and is the latest entry in the long-running fighting series that started on the PS1 in 1998.

Is Guilty Gear: Strive on Xbox Game Pass?

Guilty Gear: Strive is available on the Xbox Game Pass service from March 7, 2023. It’s playable on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

The game also arrives on Xbox along with all its DLC so far – including Season Pass 1 and Season Pass 2 that adds 5 additional characters apiece. However, this is a separate purchase and is not available in your Game Pass subscription.

Does Guilty Gear Strive have crossplay?

Yes, Guilty Gear Strive also supports Crossplay, allowing you to play against friends regardless of if they’re on Xbox, PlayStation or PC.

Among many new features for the Guilty Gear series, Strive also introduces the Wall Break feature, allowing fighters to set off special stage transitions when they’ve backed their opponent into a corner.

The game features fifteen fighters in its initial roster, including Sol Badguy, May, Zato-1 and Potemkin. DLC fighters include Jack-O, Baiken and Bridget – with two more fighters still to come.

Guilty Gear: Strive is currently out now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
