In other recent Grand Theft Auto news, Rockstar seems to be all hands on deck with GTA 6. The company is ceasing ongoing support for Red Dead Online, in order to concentrate on the next installment in its biggest franchise.
And we also recently heard that Rockstar may have scrapped plans for a pair of remasters. Supposedly, the studio was considering remasters of Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption. But, according to one established leaker, Rockstar scrapped these plans supposedly due in part to the poor reception of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy—The Definitive Edition:
“As per a reliable source with clear accuracy on Rockstar plans, remasters of GTA IV and RDR1 were on the table a few years ago, but Rockstar chose not to proceed with the projects in mind. The poor reception of the Trilogy DE might be a reason behind that decision.”
