GTA Online Freemode, a new way to seamlessly enjoy a host of multiplayer game types, will launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 15, Rockstar has announced.

Freemode promises players access to a range of seamlessly integrated games and challenges with no menus, lobbies or load times.

Some of the game types found in Freemode will include:

King of the Castle: An every man for himself turf war where you’ll need to ascend and claim the designated ‘castle’ as your territory, and then fend off everyone else as they go all out to dethrone you.

Hunt the Beast: One volunteer is temporarily transformed into a faster, stronger, beastly character who must escape relentless pursuers.

Stunt Challenges: Popping the longest wheelie, catching the most air in a land vehicle, or performing the most near misses in a vehicle without crashing.

You’ll see more modes in the trailer below.

Events can begin at any moment when in Freemode, but sessions can be customised to determine exactly which games crop up.

Freemode will be included in the GTA 5 game update on September 15, which also includes the Rockstar Editor on PS4 and Xbox One, and two new Adversary Modes.
