Music is set to play a big part in GTA 6. A lot of Rockstar’s announced characters are involved in the rap industry such as music producer Boobi and the female rap duo Real Dimez. A Grammy-winning music producer has previously teased the inclusion of Drake, while also suggesting custom radio stations from supposed discussions with Rockstar. While Drake’s involvement has been teased before, now it appears Travis Scott may be included in GTA 6 due to an Easter Egg in a brand-new music video.
GTA 6 Easter Egg appears in Travis Scott new music video
A GTA 6 Easter Egg has appeared in Travis Scott’s new music video for 2000 Excursion at 3:56. Basically, the Easter Egg is a license plate that reads “GTA6 VI6”.
This doesn’t confirm Travis Scott’s involvement with the game, but it could be a tease. It could possibly hint at 2000 Excursion being a song in the game or it could possibly hint at a different Travis Scott song being included.
It could even go as far as Travis Scott possibly cameoing in GTA 6 as a celebrity radio host. This has been done in previous Grand Theft Auto installments, with Guns N Roses’ Axl Rose arguably the most iconic as radio host Tommy Smith for K-DST in San Andreas. In addition to Axl Rose, most recently for GTA 5, Hollywood star, Cara Delevinge, was a celebrity radio host for Non-Stop Pop FM.
Travis Scott is a huge name and brand, so his involvement in Grand Theft Auto 6 wouldn’t be surprising. He smashed records with a virtual live concert in Fortnite with 12.3 million views, and lately he’s been ruining the WWE by teaming up with John Cena and the Rock.
Aside from the teased inclusion of Travis Scott, and the alleged involvement of Drake, T-Pain has explicitly said he is collaborating with Rockstar for GTA 6. T-Pain didn’t specify how he is working on the newest Grand Theft Auto, but he claimed he could no longer play GTA RP on the NoPixel servers because of teaming up with Rockstar.
Lastly, while T-Pain has confirmed his involvement, Martyn Ware of Heaven 17 has confirmed rejecting GTA 6. Martyn Ware claims Rockstar wanted to use Temptation, but, on X, he told Rocktar “go f*** yourself” because of only offering “$7500 – for a buyout of any future royalties from the game – forever”.
In other Grand Theft Auto news, a GTA 6 Online leak is supported by an exciting Take-Two Interactive patent, and the game’s launch is set to be even bigger thanks to appearing on the PSN store in countries Grand Theft Auto has previously been banned.
