GTA 5 will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on November 18, Rockstar Games has announced. The PC version will arrive several months later on January 27, 2015.

The new generation version of the acclaimed open world game will feature a range of “major visual and technical upgrades” including increased draw distances and higher resolution visuals.

Players can also look out for additions and improvements including:

  • New activities;
  • New weapons;
  • New vehicles;
  • Additional wildlife;
  • Denser traffic;
  • New foliage system;
  • Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more.

The new edition also sports enhanced radio selections, with over 100 new songs and DJ mixes across 17 radio stations.

GTA Online has also been enhanced with an increased player count of 30 on PS4 and Xbox One. All existing gameplay upgrades made since the launch on PS3/Xbox 360 are also included from day one.

Existing players will be able to transfer their current GTA Online characters and progression to their choice of PS4, Xbox One or PC. For players returning from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, a host of new and exclusive content is promised, including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more manoeuvrable Blimp; activities, including wildlife photography; and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.

Finally, those who pre-order the game will receive $1,000,000 in-game cash to spend across Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
