The appearance of Grand Theft Auto V in the newly released gamescom 2012 trailer has led to speculation that Rockstar Games will be showing off the highly anticipated sequel at the annual expo in Cologne, Germany.
Rockstar isn’t listed as a gamescom exhibitor, but owner Take-Two is.
Rockstar didn’t take GTA 5 to E3 last month, with nothing seen on the title since its reveal back in November 2011.
Gamescom takes place August 15-19.
