Movie-making tool Rockstar Editor will be introduced to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 next Tuesday, September 15, Rockstar has announced.

The feature will be included as part of the new GTA Online Freemode Events update, and lets players shoot and edit their own video shorts directly within the game before sharing them online.

Rockstar Editor first appeared in the PC release of GTA 5 earlier this year.

The tool is being updated with brand new features next week for all three platforms, though, including a new library of ambient audio and sound effects players can use to add additional atmosphere, Snapmatic integration, the option to freeze the time of day, copy and paste markers and new fonts.
