Grand Theft Auto 5 has shipped over 32.5 million units since release, Take-Two has announced, making it one of the top-selling video games of all time.
Only Wii Sports, Minecraft, Tetris, Mario Kart Wii and the original Super Mario Bros. are believed to have sold more copies.
The impressive figures were announced prior to Take-Two’s Q3 2014 earnings call this evening, with the game’s sales helping propel Take-Two to finish the year as the top video game publisher of 2013.
Unsurprisingly, GTA 5 finished the year as the best-selling game of 2013.
GTA 5 launched in September 2013. PC and next-gen versions have yet to be announced but are widely rumoured to be in development.
