Grand Theft Auto 5 has now sold more than six million copies in the UK, counting only physical units. With digital sales the figure is sure to be much higher.
GTA 5 launched on September 17, 2013 on PS3 and Xbox One, arriving the following year on PS4 and Xbox One, then on PC in 2015.
Of the 170 weeks the game has been available it has charted inside the Top 10 for more than 130 weeks.
The game’s astonishing sales record continued this week, re-entering the Top 10 at No.5 for the last chart before Xmas. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare claimed the Xmas No.1 spot.
