Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has become the seventh title in the franchise to claim the Christmas No.1 crown, comfortably holding off competition from FIFA 17, reports ChartTrack.
Battlefield 1 sits in third, followed by Watch Dogs 2 – helped by widespread price cuts – and GTA 5, which re-enters the Top 10.
Final Fantasy 15 drops two places into sixth, whilst Skyrim Special Edition is up two into seventh, closely followed by Dishonored 2 which makes the most of a price cut to rise into eighth.
Pre-Xmas price cuts also helped Steep climb to ninth, with Mafia 3 taking the last spot in the Christmas Top 10.
There are big drops for platform exclusives Dead Rising 4 on Xbox One and The Last Guardian on PS4, sliding to 18th and 20th respectively.
We won’t be around for next week’s chart, but look out for a return to normal service in the new year.
