Gran Turismo Sport on PS4 Pro will run at 4K using 1800 checkerboard rendering, offering full HDR and a 60 frames per second output, Sony revealed this morning at a PS4 Pro event.

In addition to supporting the HDR 10 standard the game will offer a wide colour output, able to display a 64 per cent increase in colour space over sRGB. Basically, if you have a top end TV GT Sport will make the most of its feature set.

What’s not clear is if the HDR goodness will be offered on the regular PS4 edition.

Gran Turismo Sport had been expected to launch on November 18, but a new 2017 release was announced back in August. Sony hasn’t offered any specifics on the date.
