Gran Turismo Anywhere, the Gran Turismo 5 update which makes it possible to manage B-Spec races when you’re not on the PS3, will launch in early February according to a Tweet by series creator and Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi.

With GT Anywhere GT5 players will be able to command their cars in B-Spec mode via a PC or mobile device. This will include telling your driver to enter the pits or overtake.

Anywhere is a novel feature, but for it to work you’ll need to have your PS3 running. Furthermore it’s reported that B-Spec races completed using Anywhere won’t count towards your B-Spec rank.
