According to a listing on Amazon France, Gran Turismo 5 will be released in three editions: a regular version, a Special Edition and an Ultimate Edition.
While the regular and Special Editions are priced as we’d expect, the Ultimate Edition carries a bank balance busting €189.95 price tag. There’s no info on what the set contains, but for that price it better be good.
However, Sony India boss Atindriya Bose has revealed some info on Ultimate Edition.
“For GT5, there are two collector’s editions. One is the game plus some added content and collectibles, while the other is in a really big package with a lot of paraphernalia that goes beyond the game,” Bose told Indian Videogamer. “It’s all car-related, but I’m unaware of the exact contents.”
Amazon France also lists the game for release on November 30, several weeks after the announced November 2 release date in North America.
We’ve contacted Sony for clarification on the GT5 editions and release date.
