I want to be the very best

Like no one ever was

To catch them is my real test

To train them is my cause (oooh)

I will travel across the land

Searchin’ far and wide

Each Pokèmon to understand

The power that’s inside! (Power inside!)”

If that has sent shivers of excitement down your spine you’ll be hyped up over Nintendo’s announcement that Pokèmon Emerald will be released in Europe for the GBA on October 21st 2005. The game includes characters that have previously been unavailable on the GBA, wireless multiplayer action, team battles and the all-new Battle Frontier.

Players will embark on a quest to maintain the balance between Kyogre and Groudon. Pokèmon masters must train their Pokèmon so they can take on more powerful enemies and capture other Pokèmon so they can fight alongside you.

It sounds like every Pokèmon fan’s dream game. While you’re waiting for the October 21st release date, console yourself with this continued rendition of the Pokèmon theme song.

Pokèmon!

It’s you and me.

I know it’s my des-ti-ny!

Po-kè-monnn!

Ohhhhh, you’re my best friend

In a world we must defend!

Pokèmon!

A heart so true

Our courage will pull us through

You teach me and I’ll teach you

Po-kè-mon!

(Gotta catch ’em) Gotta catch ’em (Pokmon!)”
