PlayStation has released the TV spot for the upcoming God of War: Ragnarok – and it’s certainly a star studded affair; featuring Hollywood A-listers Ben Stiller, John Travolta and LeBron James.
The advert takes the form of a sort of group therapy session between the three stars and their real-life children, talking about how they can relate to Kratos and his parenting skills in the upcoming game.

The common thread is parental guidance, and how the lessons we learn from Kratos’ own teachings can be applied to the celeb’s own parenting styles. Not sure we’d recommend the whole shooting with an arrow thing though.
While light on actual gameplay, it is a pretty funny advert – especially Stiller, who gets the most into the role by dressing in Kratos cosplay.
We think it’s an improvement from Modern Warfare 2’s own celeb-studdied effort at any rate.
The spot wraps up with some exciting footage from the game, which we’re reminded will be out in just over a week’s time. Check the advert out for yourself down below.
God of War Ragnarok is scheduled to release on November 9 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. And as a reminder – the review embargo drops later this week.
If you can’t wait that long, why not check out our hands on preview with the game – which you can read right over here.
