Chris O'Neill, leader designer on Sony's God of War, has been snapped up by Microsoft's The Initiative studio.
The company has been on a hiring spree the past few months, taking on board talent such as Rockstar's Tom Shepherd and Sony Santa Monica Studio's Brain Westergaard, who also worked on God of War.
According to his LinkedIn profile (via Windows Central), O'Neill's experience also includes a stint at Kojima Productions. There's no word yet on what project he's involved at with The Initiative, but hopefully we'll find out more soon.
The Initiative was formed last year with the goal of developing quality, narrative-driven exclusives for Xbox One. Microsoft also confirmed at E3 that it had acquired a number of studios under its belt, including Ninja Theory and Playground Games.
