During Microsoft Studios' Xbox E3 showcase Head of Xbox Phil Spencer revealed a brand new Microsoft studio called The Initiative.

As well as that, Undead Labs (State of Decay), Playground Games (Forza), Compulsion Games (We Happy Few), and Ninja Theory (Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice) are all now Microsoft studios.

Phil Spencer said that these five new teams will have the resources and platform to 'take bigger risks' and build bigger games for the Xbox One players.
