The developer behind PlayStation 4-exclusive dad epic God of War has not ruled out the possibility of introducing a Photo Mode for the game down the line.

Speaking with The Daily Star, Sony Santa Monica Studio’s Cory Barlog, who is also directing Kratos’ Norse-flavoured adventure, confirmed that the studio is ‘looking at’ introducing the feature, but noted it has to be special as the bar has been raised pretty high already.

‘It’s something that we’re definitely looking at,’ commented Barlog. ‘The photo mode has got to be something really cool. Like people have sort of raised the bar on photo mode. So, I’m not talking about it much right now because I think we need to do something really cool.’

Barlog has been pretty forthcoming with God of War details lately. Earlier this week, he said that future titles in the series would likely feature Atreus and stick with the Norse setting, and confirmed the title will feature four difficulty settings, one of which will be quite unique.

God of War is due out on April 20.
