God of War Ascension has been given a March 12, 2013 release date. The news came during Sony’s E3 press conference in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Sony used its press conference to show off the first campaign gameplay footage, culminating in the exposed brain of an elephant warrior and Kratos jumping onto a giant octopus.
Its March release date puts it in what is shaping up to be a very busy release window, with other titles including BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Judgment, and South Park.
