Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Sky have today announced that Go!View is now live. The service for the PSP will give gamers access to TV, movies and sport, and all users who register at GoView.tv will receive one month’s membership for free.

The Go!View service allows users to easily transfer content to their PSP via a PC. Current distribution and broadcasting partners include Disney-ABC-ESPN Television, BBC Worldwide, Sony Pictures Television International, NBC Universal International Television Distribution, National Geographic and Sky Sports. This means the range of content available spans from hit TV shows Lost and Desperate Housewives to Top Gear, Premiership Football and blockbuster movies.

Go!View has two methods of payment. Comedy, Sport and Entertainment packs are offered through a monthly subscription (£5 for 1 pack, £8 for 2 packs and £10 for all three packs), while rentable TV shows will set you back £1.50 per episodes and rentable movies from £2.50.

“We are working with our content providers to secure a quality range of programming and ensure that PSP owners are getting the best possible service on-the-go and on-demand,” said Alison Turner, General Manager, Go!View Entertainment UK.

Sony has stated that the service will continue to grow over the coming months.
