It’s a given that Infinity Ward and everyone involved in the development of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 would at some point be seriously testing the game, but members of a website which specialises in finding bugs and glitches have been brought on board to help out too.
Rezzo, a member of mapMonkeys confirmed that he along with three other members have been flown to California by Infinity Ward to test Modern Warfare 3 over a period of one week, looking for glitches.
“Four members of mapMonkeys are being flown out to California on Sunday, July 10, to test Modern Warfare 3, including mapMonkey, IM Buddy8, skateboard, and myself!” said Rezzo.
He added that while members have been used in the past to test other games, they’ve got much longer this time.
“We’ve been flown out to test other games in the past (Such as Call of Duty: World at War and Modern Warfare 2), but we only had 2 or 3 days to test the game and find glitches, which wasn’t nearly enough time. This time, Infinity Ward is keeping us there an entire week so we can find more bugs and glitches than ever before! I know this goes against mapMonkeys since we thrive off of finding and sharing glitches with each other, but this is an amazing opportunity we can’t pass up!”
