Ever since its launch in 2020, Genshin Impact has remained the king of the gacha games. While Hoyoverse has brought forward some new experiences like Honkai and ZZZ, their best and most iconic setting still remains Teyvat. Update 5.0 will be coming out soon, and a leak possibly reveals new Genshin Impact playbale banner characters for updates 5.1 to 5.3.

Genshin Impact 5.0 is slated to come out towards the end of August, and there is a lot to be excited about. A leak claims arguably the most powerful warrior in all of Teyvat will become playable, meanwhile, another 5.0 leak provides a list of upcoming quality-of-life improvements.

While the beginning of chapter five is close but still yet to arrive, it’s natural that fans are always looking ahead and beyond. A leak claims to have revealed new playable banner characters for updates 5.1 to 5.3, and, if true, fans should be excited.

Genshin Impact updates 5.1 to 5.3 banner characters leak

According to popular and often reliable Genshin Impact leaker hxg_diluc on Twitter, we could be getting the following new playable banner characters for updates 5.1 to 5.3:

  • Update 5.1 – Xilonen, Chasca
  • Update 5.2 – Ororun
  • Update 5.3 – Citlali

If you’re unfamiliar as to who above characters are, below is a graphic showing all of the Natlan characters:

It’s not official that the above will come out as leaked for updates 5.1 to 5.3 as Hoyoverse hasn’t confirmed anything beyond 5.0.

As for official news, the confirmed update 5.0 Natlan banner characters are Mualani and Kinich. We will learn about these characters and see gameplay exhibiting their skills and abilities in the 5.0 special programme preview scheduled to take place on August 16th.

Right now we still have update 4.8 to enjoy. The current phase 1 banner is Navia, and this is set to end on August 6th. We will then be introduced to new playable banner character Emilie.
