Genshin Impact is a life-service game, and as such, its banner rotations take place every few weeks, keeping the player base always on their toes. Though whether it is official information published by Hoyoverse or information that has slipped through the company’s cracks, the player base always manages to get a pretty close idea of what upcoming banners and characters are going to look like.

Even though we’re too far out from update 3.3 to warrant MiHoYo releasing official confirmations or information on banner characters, the community, as it does, has again acquired plenty of information regarding the new update. Read more to find out everything we have on the upcoming Banners in Genshin Impact 3.3.

Upcoming Characters

Genshin Impact version 3.3 is scheduled to come around on December 7, 2022, and is expected to run until January 17, the following year. According to @genshinBLANK on Twitter, a community leaker who has been accurate with his leaks many times in the past, there will be 2 new characters, Wanderer (Scaramouche) and Faruzan, appearing in the first half of this version update.

Wanderer (Scaramouche)

Codename Balladeer, Scaramouche is number six of the Fatui Harbingers and is slated to become the new weekly boss before the release of version 3.3. Leakers state that he will then be released as a playable 5* Anemo Catalyst user called Wanderer.

According to information put out by reliable community leakers @ProjectCelestia and @RazerNinjas on Twitter, his kit will include the following:

  • His passive Talents give him buffs upon infusing an element with his skill: namely with Pyro buffing Attack, Hydro buffing Stamina, Electro buffing Energy, and Cryo buffing Crit.
  • His second passive Talent would have a 10% chance to give him a 35% Attack-scaling hit, this chance increasing by 15% with each auto-hit.
  • His Elemental Skill will have him create an Anemo ring projectile that will launch him mid-air from where he has the ability to maneuver around. His C2 will also supposedly affect his Stamina.
  • Not much is known about his Elemental Burst, except that it could involve the use of his hat.

Faruzan

A member of the Sumeru Akademiya, Faruzan is someone who once completely disappeared but was then found by Cyno. Their relationship seems to closely resemble that of a parent and child, with her voice lines describing Cyno as a kind and chatty parent. Earlier leaks suggest that she could be a 4* Anemo Bow user and that her model will closely resemble a teenage look like Ayaka.

Fortunately, we have more potential information on Faruzan’s kit as well, again via @ProjectCelestia on Twitter:

  • Her Elemental Skill can mark her enemies with two unique levels, and she spawns an Area Of Effect Wind Region on the ground that can suck in enemies, similar to Venti’s Elemental Burst
  • Her own Elemental Burst will supposedly summon a creature that does a burst of damage which, if true, would make her the first playable summoner in-game.

Upcoming Weapons

Again, with information acquired from Genshin Impact’s active community of leakers, Version 3.3 is expected to introduce two new weapons. Though reliable, the specificities of this information should be taken with a grain of salt.

Alaya

Alaya is the 5* weapon for this update, specifically being a Catalyst weapon.

  • Attack: 674
  • Crit Damage: 44.1 percent
  • Passive: Upon using an Elemental Skill, the wielder will obtain a buff to their Normal Attack DPS (Damage Per Second). This buff will increase by two stacks, up to a total of ten maximum stacks, every time a Normal Attack hits an enemy.
  • Scaramouche’s signature weapon

Kasabouzo

Kasabouzo is the 4* weapon for this update, specifically being a sword-type weapon.

  • Attack: 510
  • Elemental Mastery: 165
  • Passive: Inflicts the target with the Fright effect whenever they are hit, increasing damage dealt to them by the wielder/ Kasubouzo’s Umbrellas.
  • Allegedly an event-exclusive weapon.

Final Thoughts

With all the leaks and rumors circulating the internet, it’s hard to gauge what Genshin has in store for us. While the sources of our leaks are reliable, there’s still no guarantee that these will be the actual characters. With that said, if there is any official word from Genshin, we’ll make sure to let you know!
