Here’s what we know about the new update so far.

Genshin Impact 3.2 release date

The 3.2 update for Genshin Impact, named Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises, will arrive on November 2, 2022.

It’ll add the last chapter of the Sumeru Archon Quest, with an epic boss fight promised against the third Fatui Harbinger boss – as The Balladeer transforms into a nasty mechanical puppet who’ll need his strings cutting down a bit.

Genshin Impact 3.2 release time

The release time of the update will be tied into the Nahida banner. The latter will be live once the update is, which should be between 7:30pm and 8pm PT – that’s 10:30pm and 11pm ET. (About 2:30am to 3am UK time.)

Genshin Impact 3.2 new playable characters

The new playable characters this time around include Nahida (the Traveler’s ally) along with Layla, who’s also a Sumeru character.

Nahida is a five-star Dendro catalyst, with the ability to mark and link and deal additional Dendro damage to foes. This can be heightened further if teamed up with Elemental characters.

Layla meanwhile is an Astrology student who uses a sword – and also the power of Cryo which she can use both offensively and defensively to shield her team.

Genshin Impact 3.2 new events and gameplay

The new update will also include some new events, such as the Fabulous Fungus Frenzy that’ll see players catching Fungi and training them to battle not unlike a popular pocket monster series.

There’ll also be an ‘Adventurer’s Trials’ event, and a new open world boss with the Dendro Hypostasis. You’ll be able to beat them as part of the Hypostatic Symphony challenge.

On top of that, players can also expect the introduction of the Replication System, which allows them to share realm designs in their teapot. Lovely!

Genshin Impact is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
