Konami of Europe has announced that they will release Genki’s Kaido Racer for the PlayStation 2 this November. The game features courses from Japan and asks players to race in the mountainous regions of Akagi, Zao, Aso and Haruna. Whether racing against AI opponents or a friend, Kaido Racer looks set to offer a thrilling challenge for racing fans.
With 149 licensed cars, multiple battle modes, a story mode and soundtrack editor, Kaido Racer appears to tick all the boxes an arcade racer should. Whether or not the game is as exciting as it sounds on paper is another matter. We’ll bring you more near its November release.
