Microsoft has announced that Gears of War: Judgment will arrive on Xbox 360 in early 2013. The news follows the game’s trailer reveal during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
Gears of War: Judgment takes players back before the events of the original Gears of War trilogy to the immediate aftermath of Emergence Day. The game follows Kilo Squad, led by Damon Baird and Augustus “The Cole Train” Cole, as they fight to save the city of Halvo Bay from an unstoppable enemy.
We’ve already detailed some of Gears of War: Judgment multiplayer features and the debut trailer can be viewed below.
An early 2013 release would suggest some point before the end of March, which would put the game up against the likes of BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, South Park, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.
