Microsoft and Epic Games have announced the Gears of War 3 limited edition Xbox 360 console. The specially painted red and black console comes equipped with a 320GB hard drive and two custom-designed controllers that feature the transforming D-pad.
The console also comes with a standard copy of Gears of War 3, a wired headset, five downloadable in-game weapon skins, a token for the Infected Omen Weapon Pack and Adam Fenix playable character. Perhaps most excitingly, the power and eject buttons have been customised with sounds from the Gears of War universe.
No UK release info has been announced, but North America will get the bundle on September 20 priced $399.99. Limited Edition Gears of War 3 wireless controllers can be bought separately for $59.99.
