This weekend, The Coalition's Gears 5 multiplayer tech test returns to Xbox One and PC for all Xbox Live Gold Subscribers.
From 6pm BST on July 26, the Gears 5 Versus Tech Test will go live with Arcade, King of the Hill and Escalation. Those new to the world of Gears will be able to enlist in the Boot Camp training mode, and there’s also the Tour of Duty, a set of overarching gameplay challenges that net player rewards.
Speaking of, the Wreath Bloodspray reward is up for grabs by completing one match during the tech test between 1.30am-2.30am BST on Saturday. The Gears 5 tech test is available for download on the Microsoft Store, but the servers aren’t online yet, understandably. You can watch the Gears 5 Versus trailer below to drum up the hype ahead of this evening.
Gears 5 will launch on September 10 for Xbox One and PC.
