Gears of War 3 on the Xbox 360 is the “Best and most polished Gears game to date,” according to Cliff Bleszinski, design director of Epic Games. He was speaking ahead of the live Gears of War 3 demo during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
The gameplay demo, in which Bleszinski played cooperatively with rapper and Gears 3 cast member Ice-T, showed off a massive fight against a huge tentacled sea monster.
As well as showcasing the game’s impressive visuals, the demo also highlighted a new mech suit called Silverbacks.
Gears of War 3 is due for release on September 20.
