Xbox 360 and PS3 action game Fuse will be released across Europe on May 31, developer Insomniac has announced.

The developer revealed the release date during a PAX East panel over the weekend.

Originally planned for a March release, EA confirmed a date change at the end of January.

“Ted Price and the Insomniac Studio are putting a lot of polish into their new game, Fuse. The extra work delivers a big payout for players and FUSE will be released in Q1, our spring quarter,” said EA COO Peter Moore during the publisher’s Q3 earnings call.

Insomniac has high hopes for the new IP, with CEO Ted Price telling VideoGamer.com that he believes it can become a franchise.
