Microsoft has revealed the line-up for September’s Games with Gold. In pole position is the popular racing game, and Xbox One launch title, Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition, which is free to download from September 1-30. Next up is the teenage horror and indie darling, Oxenfree, which comes to the GWG promotion mid-way through the month on September 16.
There are a couple of pretty decent Xbox 360 titles as well, Hydro Thunder Hurricane is an Xbox Live Arcade title where you race boats, collecting power-ups and blasting through ridiculous stages. Hydro Thunder will be available from September 1-15. This is replaced after a couple of weeks by EA’s smash-hit, and all-round very good shooter, Battlefield 3, which comes to GWG on the same day as Oxenfree. That’s September 16 by the way.
Another month of rather good Xbox One and Xbox 360 games for folks to get into then. But first we will have to say goodbye to some titles that’ll be leaving the promotion. Starting with Red Faction: Armageddon and Slime Rancher that will be gone come the end of August. Trials Fusion will still be available until September 15.
