Drake’s love affair with Fortnite has shifted up a gear, with the Canadian musician revealing he’ll wax lyrical about the popular shooter in a future song — providing developer Epic Games includes a Hotline Bling emote in the game.

If you’re like me and most of your favourite bands are at least 50-years-old, then you’re probably wondering what all the fuss is about. Apparently Hotline Bling is the name of a song by Drake, and quite a popular one at that. It’s got over 1.3 billion views on YouTube, and Drake wants it represented in Fortnite.

I’m not exactly sure what a Hotline Bling emote would look like, but hopefully Epic Games has an idea or we won’t get to hear Drake rapping about the game in a new tune. I mean, it’s gotta be worth a listen, right?

‘When Epic gives me the emote, the Hotline Bling emote, then I’ll do it, but til’ then I’m on strike,’ he said.

In case you missed it, Drake revealed last month that he’s actually a pretty big fan of the battle royale title, having helped Canadian streamer Ninja break the record for the most concurrent viewers after he joined in the fun.
