With the release of Fortnitemares 2024 around the corner, Epic Games is set to release a massive update. The update will include an annual Halloween event, many new cosmetics, gameplay changes, and more. According to leakers, this will be one of the most exciting Halloween events, and it will also bring big map changes.
Thanks to a recent leak, we already know what parts of the Fortnite map will change during the event. It looks like Epic will change three existing places while also adding six new landmarks, which sounds incredible!
The Fortnitemares event will bring big map changes
Every year, Epic releases special content in October. The first Fortnitemares event happened all the way back in 2017, and the eighth annual event is just a few days away. While the exact release date of Fortnitemares 2024 hasn’t been revealed yet, it will come out by Tuesday, October 15. According to a recent leak, it will bring big map changes.
Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, claims that we will see huge changes to the island during the Halloween event. More specifically, Epic will release changes to Grand Glacier, Bralwer’s Battleground, and Restored Reels. These are the places that received minor changes after the recent Doom event, and more changes will come in a few days.
Besides these changes, Epic will supposedly release six new landmarks on the island! At the moment, we don’t know what these landmarks will look like, but they will most likely have a Halloween theme and decorations. One of these new places may also have a new NPC, which was leaked a few weeks ago.
