First Fortnitemares 2024 leak has already come out

The annual Fortnitemares event is set to arrive later this year. If everything goes according to plan, Epic Games should release it sometime in October. Despite being more than a month away, we already have the first leak about the Halloween event. With the next Fortnite update coming on September 17, we expect even more leaks and information to come out with it.

The next Fortnitemares event will likely bring monsters back

The latest Fortnite update added a lot of new files to the game data. Most of these files were enabled on live servers, but some have remained inactive. One of these inactive files shows a new creature that is coming for the next Halloween event. According to Guille_GAG, Epic will add a new NPC to the island during this period.

While adding a new NPC is not a big deal, this could be a sign of monsters returning to the game. In addition to this, there’s a good chance that the Fortnite developer will bring back the Horde Rush mode for the event.

Even though they haven’t been leaked yet, Fortnitemares 2024 will bring many new skins to the game. Jason Vorhees has been rumored to come to Fortnite, although there is no confirmation yet. Besides him, we expect at least five more characters. On top of this, Epic has been releasing free rewards for the past few Halloween events, and we expect this to be the case in 2024 as well.

The release date of the next Fortnite Halloween event hasn’t been leaked or revealed yet. However, judging by the previous years, it may come in early October. The third major update of this Fortnite season is scheduled for October 1, and there’s a good chance that Epic will release Fortnitemares 2024 with it.
