With thousands of cosmetic items in Fortnite, it’s no surprise that Epic Games sometimes makes mistakes. The in-game store rotates every 24 hours, and from time to time, it shows an incorrect image or price. This is what happened during the last rotation of the Item Shop, which is why many players may soon get another V-Bucks refund.
Interestingly, the same thing happened earlier this month. To make up for this mistake, Epic sent a free skin to all eligible players. This time, players affected by the problem should either get a V-Bucks refund or four emotes.
Another Fortnite V-Bucks refund might be around the corner
On Wednesday night, Epic Games brought Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back to Fortnite. Each skin can be bought separately, while there is also an option to purchase an entire bundle of cosmetic items. The bundle costs 3400 V-Bucks and includes not only all four Ninja skins but also their accessories, such as back blings and pickaxes.
When the bundle just came out, Epic released an incorrect image of it. As Reddit user Alphasilverhawk pointed out, the image showed all the items included in the bundle, as well as four emotes that are not in it.

Epic Games hasn’t addressed this issue yet. However, we expect the Fortnite developer to either send out the four emotes to players who purchased the bundle or give them a V-Bucks refund. Considering that this is what happened a few times in the past, we have no reason to believe that Epic won’t do the right thing.
It’s important to note that the image of the bundle has been fixed shortly after its release. Due to this, Fortnite players who purchased it after the fix may not be eligible for the compensation.
