Travis Scott is one of the most popular artists in Fortnite. The rapper was first added to the game in Chapter 2 – Season 2 but has become quite rare. His skin has only been out on six different days and hasn’t been seen since April 27, 2020. Due to this, it’s no surprise that many players are wondering when Travis Scott will come back to Fortnite.

Since we are currently in Chapter 6 Season 1, and Fortnite is re-releasing OG skins like the Renegade Raider, this could be a perfect opportunity to bring him back. However, Epic Games may have different plans.

Fortnite Travis Scott skin latest update (December 2024)

As of December 29, 2024, Fortnite has updated the API files with more rare skins such as Chun Li, Arcane Vi, Arcane Jinx, and Travis Scott, according to data miners.

Furthermore, to fuel the demand for the skin alongside fans, streamers IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat have also requested the comeback of Travis Scott cosmetics during their Fortnite OG marathon streams.

Is Travis Scott blacklisted in Fortnite?

The controversies surrounding Travis Scott have resulted in numerous rumors in the Fortnite community. One of the most popular rumors is that the rapper has been blacklisted and will never return to the game. However, this is absolutely untrue. Even Tim Sweeney, Epic Games CEO, confirmed that the rapper is welcome to come back. However, the executive is not in charge of the Item Shop rotation.

Many players are waiting for Travis’ skins to come back to the game, and the release date might be around the corner. Epic added the artist back with the latest update after his song with Ice Spice was seen in the Remix Finale season-ending Fortnite event which featured giant versions of rappers, similar to Scott’s performance in Chapter 2 – Season 2.

There is no denying that Travis Scott is a big part of Fortnite. His Astronomical event in April 2020 drew 12.3 million players for the first showing and 27 million players in total across five events. This astonishing number of players was only surpassed by The Devourer of World, a season-ending event from Chapter 2 – Season 4.

While Epic has set the stage for the return of Travis Scott in Fortnite, nothing has been confirmed yet. The current Winterfest event is scheduled to end on January 5, and we’ll have to wait for a while longer to see if he comes back. In the meantime, the artist will remain the fifth-rarest skin in the video game.
