Fortnite recently received a massive update that added lots of new content. On Tuesday, Epic Games released the v36.30 update, which is the last update of the season. As such, it brought many changes, including the end-of-season content, such as a live event. Interestingly, just one day after the update, Epic released another big change in Fortnite, making the storm stronger and less predictable.

In this article, we will reveal all the details regarding the latest storm update in Fortnite. Next time you play the game’s most popular mode, you will undoubtedly notice the increased storm damage and different movement patterns.

The Fortnite storm is now less predictable and more powerful

On Tuesday, Epic Games released a big content update for Blitz Royale, Fortnite’s most popular mode. MEGA City returned and is now on the Blitz map, while the game developer added a six-player playlist for the first time. On top of this, Kamehameha can now be obtained from Golden Llamas, and the free back bling is unlockable for a limited time.

While the return of MEGA City was a nice touch, the storm ended over this POI too frequently. Fortunately, this was fixed on Wednesday, a day after the update went live. Thanks to this, storm circles now close in a wide variety of locations across the island, Epic clarified.

To make the endgame even more intense, Fortnite increased the storm damage of late-game circles to 20 damage per second. This circle dealt 10 damage in the past, making this a rather significant change that will force players to adapt their end-game strategy.

This Saturday, Epic Games will have a special gameplay event in Blitz Royale. At 3 PM Eastern Time, the game developer will release unlimited Kamehamehas in this game mode, making it even more chaotic! This change will kick in right after the storyline live event.
