Epic Games has announced that it’ll bring Chapter Two of Fortnite to a conclusion with an event called The End next weekend.

The blurb for the event reads as follows: “With The Convergence complete, The Cube Queen prepares her endgame for the Island and nothing will ever be the same. Grab your weapons and fight the ultimate destroyer of all reality. Join “The End,” a one-time only, in-game event and battle for your legacy.”

You’ll be able to join up in parties of up to 16 players for the event, with servers opening half an hour before proceedings commence. As the season is apparently ending a day earlier than previously advertised, everyone who logs in before can also claim 225,000 XP to make up for it. Anyone who attends will also get a special loading screen and wrap.

Players are advised to complete any outstanding quests before the event. You can check out more information on the blog post on the Fortnite website.

Fortnite Chapter Two The End kicks off at 9PM UK time on December 4, 2021. Presumably Chapter Three will kick off soon after, though there’s no word so far. The end of Chapter One came back in 2019, and sent the game into a black hole for a few days.
