Epic Games secretly nerfed Rocket Ram with latest Fortnite update

The latest Fortnite update has brought a lot of new content. From My Hero Academia and a new Mythic item to Super Styles, Epic Games added many new things to the game. However, there are also a couple of secret changes that have been released.

Unfortunately, Epic stopped releasing Fortnite patch notes since Chapter 2. Due to this, it’s sometimes hard to discover all the changes that have come with a new update. Fortunately, many data miners are skilled enough to discover these changes and reveal them.

The September 12 update contained a couple of secret changes, including several Fortnite nerfs. Here’s everything we know about it.

Latest Fortnite nerf affects Rocket Ram and other items

According to Wenso, a reputable Fortnite leaker, Epic Games released a couple of minor tweaks with the v26.10 update. These tweaks include the reduction in the spawn rate of several items, including the Rocket Ram, a fan-favorite item this season.

The Rocket Ram nerf did not affect its damage or mobility. However, players will not find it as often as before the update. Wenso revealed that the spawn rate of the popular item was reduced by 20%. Fortunately, the item will still be contained in Heist Bags with a slightly increased chance.

Here are all the minor changes that have come with the latest Fortnite update:

• Rocket Ram spawn rate reduced by 20%
• Business Turret spawn rate reduced by 10%
• Remote Explosives spawn rate reduced by 10%
• Heist Bags now have a higher chance of including these three items

Considering that this was the first major update of Chapter 4 – Season 4, it’s no surprise that Epic Games released these tweaks. We can expect more Fortnite nerfs to come out later in the season, possibly with the v26.20 update on September 26.
