Reload has been one of the most popular modes in Fortnite over the past few months. Since its release in June 2024, it has attracted millions of players who enjoy faster-paced gameplay. According to the latest leak, Epic Games will add a new Fortnite Reload map soon, and we may already know its theme.
So far, the game mode has two maps: Venture and Desert Oasis. These maps rotate every 30 minutes, and each of them has unique features and biomes. The upcoming map will likely be added to the rotation at some point during Chapter 6 – Season 2.
When will a new Fortnite Reload map be released?
According to Hypex, the veteran Fortnite leaker, another Reload map will come soon. The leaker has not revealed the exact release date of it. However, we expect it to come out by May 2025. The ending date of Fortnite Chapter 6 – Season 2 is May 2, and the new map should come before it.
Epic has already surveyed players regarding the theme of a new map, and here are some options that were offered:
- Chapter 2 to Chapter 6
- Chapter 2 – Season 2
- Jungle & Urban
The theme of the upcoming map is currently unknown. However, it will almost certainly be based on previous seasons and bring back some of the iconic POIs. Considering that Chapter 2 – Season 2 is arguably the most popular Fortnite season, it won’t be surprising if we see the return of The Agency, The Shark, and other locations that made this season special.
While we are waiting for a new Fortnite Reload map, Epic will make more changes to the mode’s loot pool. According to leakers, a new unvaulting wave will occur every one to two weeks, making this game mode much more fun!
