Fortnite Reload is getting another map in less than a month! Epic Games released a teaser video for it, revealing its design and the release date. This will be the third map for the game mode and will likely rotate with the other two. The first map, Venture, arrived with the Reload mode on June 22, while the Oasis map was released in November 2024. Now, it’s time for a new one.
Unsurprisingly, the map is inspired by one of the previous Battle Royale maps. This time, Epic will bring back some of the most iconic locations from Chapter 2! More specifically, the upcoming map seems to be inspired by the very first version of the Chapter 2 island.
What is the release date of the new Fortnite Reload map?
The new Fortnite Reload map will be released on Tuesday, April 15. Although it will be added with the v32.30 update a week earlier, Epic won’t activate it right away. It’s unclear whether this map will be included in the rotation with Venture and Oasis, but it will likely remain the only Reload map for at least a week before Epic adds it to the rotation.
The upcoming Fortnite Reload map is based on Chapter 2, and here are some of the locations that will be added:
- Steamy Stacks
- Fort Crumpet
- Slurpy Swamp
- Logjam Woodworks
- Lockie’s Lighthouse
- Dirty Docks
- Shanty Town
These places will be smaller than their original variants and will have different names. However, we will have to wait for a bit longer until we find out more details about it. The new map will likely bring a couple of changes for this mode, including a different loot pool and possibly new gameplay mechanics.
