In a shocking turn of events, it appears that Epic Games decided to bring back two rarest Fortnite skins. The iconic Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper will likely hit the Item Shop soon. The best part? The release date is much sooner than you might think! This information was revealed by several reputable leakers, and we believe that it’s true.
Considering that Epic recently brought back the very first season of Fortnite, this move makes sense. Let’s dive into details and see what’s waiting for us!
Is Renegade Raider coming back to Fortnite?
According to Hypex and a few more leakers, Epic Games recently updated Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper. These skins haven’t been seen for more than seven years, yet for some reason, the game creator updated their Item Shop images. This lines perfectly with another leak that claims another shop will be released soon. This will be called the OG Shop and will require players to level up to purchase items.
Now, let’s take a look at late 2017. In the first-ever season of Fortnite, Epic released the Season Shop. Unlike the Item Shop, the Season Shop required players to level up to purchase items. For example, to obtain Renegade Raider, players needed to reach level 20, and then they would be able to spend 1,500 V-Bucks to buy the skin. According to Fortnite leakers, this shop will return on Thursday night.
Now, many players believe that Renegade Raider is an exclusive skin. However, that is not true. While Epic Games clarified that Battle Pass items won’t return to Fortnite, there was no comment regarding the rarest skins from the Season Shop. Renegade Raider, Aerial Assault Trooper, as well as other cosmetics from Season 1, were never part of the Battle Pass, as this system was added in Season 2.
It’s important to note that this leak may not be 100% accurate. However, we will soon find out, as these items are supposed to come out with the next reset of the Item Shop.
