The Fortnite x Star Wars season just came out, as Epic Games added tons of new content. The new season, which will last for only five weeks, brings a new Battle Pass, big map changes, unique items, and more. The game developer also drastically changed the loadout, removing all the regular weapons, such as assault rifles and shotguns, and replacing them with Blasters.
The season will go through several phases, with each phase bringing new content. In the third week, Epic will release the CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster, which will arguably be the most powerful weapon in Fortnite.
The new Fortnite weapon will deal insane damage for a body shot
As Epic Games revealed, the CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster will arrive on May 15, in the third week of the new season. The weapon will be obtainable from chests around the island, which will make it quite common. What makes it unique is its incredible body shot damage, which is 162.
Its headshot multiplier is low, as the weapon’s maximum damage is 185. However, considering the damage output for a regular hit, this is not a big deal. To put it into perspective, the Legendary Pump Shotgun, one of the iconic weapons in Fortnite, dealt 128 damage to the body.
It appears that the upcoming Fortnite weapon will only have one bullet in its magazine, which will make it balanced. However, it will still be deadly in the right hands, especially if Epic allows players to use the double pump mechanic with it.
The season is still fresh, and it will be interesting to see all the content that the Fortnite developer has prepared for us. In the meantime, make sure to unlock all the free skins, including the First Order Stormtrooper.
