Epic Games brought a couple of major game modes with the release of Fortnite Chapter 5. Racing fans can now take part in Rocket Racing, while music enthusiasts have Fortnite Festival. Epic also released LEGO Fortnite, an open-world mode, but it turns out that another big mode is being developed.

According to the latest leak, Fortnite will get another open-world game mode. However, it will be nothing like LEGO Fortnite. Instead of LEGO-styled skins, the leaked mode will open up the world of Fortnite and add many new features to it.

The upcoming Fortnite mode will immortalize the game

Thanks to constant updates, Fortnite has become one of the most popular video games of all time. Due to this, it’s no surprise that Epic Games keeps adding new content to it a few times a month. Egyptian Fortnite Leaker, one of the most reputable leakers, recently shared a lot of new details regarding the upcoming game mode.

According to the leaker, Epic is working on a new open-world game mode in Fortnite. However, this mode will have nothing to do with LEGO. This mode has been reportedly in development for a few years, which is why we can expect it to arrive soon.

Here are all the details the leaker has shared regarding Fortnite’s open world:

  • The map will have different biomes and dynamic POIs
  • Wildlife and vehicles will be available
  • Friendly NPCs, henchmen, and bosses will be in the mode
  • NPCs will sell items

Dynamic POIs mean that the Fortnite map will constantly evolve, which has been the case with the Battle Royale map. On top of this, the leaker believes that the open world in Fortnite will also have a storyline that will be split into several acts.

The release date of the new mode hasn’t been revealed yet. However, some files related to it are labeled “CH5S1,” which could mean that we will get it by March 2024.
